Loke Yee Siong
Chief Executive Officer

Two decades. 20 years. That’s a long time to spend honing your skills – but when it comes to someone like Loke, it’s never quite enough. Loke brings a vast array of know-how and indispensable insight to the table. Ever-cognizant of the bigger picture, he skillfully navigates the sales and distribution landscape of telecommunications sector with the sort of delicate proficiency that only a seasoned professional possesses. His enviable portfolio includes 11 years with Maxis, where he helped transform the then newcomer into Malaysia’s number 1 mobile operator, P1 and TuneTalk. Loke is the co-founder of Enabling Asia Tech Sdn Bhd (EA), a pioneer of MVNA in Malaysia, and its in-house MVNO subsidiary, i.e. Mobile 8 Telco Sdn Bhd (M8TSB), launched under the brand of Buzzme.

Kewell Yap
Chief Business Controller

Beside every leader is a capable lieutenant. A shrewd business advisor and controller with thousands of hours’ of experience in financial services and business management, Kewell is the chief executor of grand designs. Kewell cut his professional teeth at Maxis, rising through the ranks to become Head of Budget & Process Management before joining Telekom Malaysia as Head of Programme Management for Chief Marketing Officer’s office and Asian Broadcasting Network as Head of Marketing Planning. His unmatched credentials serve as testament to his capabilities as he routinely and effortlessly pilots projects of both the micro and macro scales to success. Ensuring conformity to business processes and forging strategic organisational development, he works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that at the end of the day, it all goes according to plan.

Kewell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honors) in Accounting with best dissertation award from University of Hertfordshire, UK and a Diploma in Accounting with best academic award from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He has been a Graduate ICSA member from The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) since 2008 and an AEPP member from Estate Planning Practitioners Limited of Singapore since 2016.

Veronica Ong
Chief Product Officer

Experience counts, and Veronica is one of the industry’s most experienced operator. With a hand in Malaysia’s telecommunications industry since 1996, Veronica helped shape products at Digi, P1 and TuneTalk, always championing not only a product’s features but also an impeccable service to back it up with. Her forte includes fixed lines, mobile cellular, international voice and international roaming services. Veronica’s distinguished career sees her regularly interfacing with domestic and international parties in all things development, management and CRM. She brings more than a decade of experience of managing telco products, including best practices and specific expertise to the EA and Buzzme team.

Yazhani Mohd Yazid
Head of Alliances & Regulatory

Yazhani’s is a savant in all things development and planning. Attributing his proficiency to his 18 years in business administration and management in important industries, including oil & gas and engineering, his portfolio is laudable. From managing telecommunications acts to ensuring conformity to business processes, there quite simply is no other candidate as fit as Yazhani to play the decisive role of Head of Alliances and Regulatory. Yazhani’s current portfolio on strategic alliances includes regulatory compliance, stakeholders’ relationship management and new business and alliances development, a portfolio which involves even greater challenges in governing business plans and deliverables for Buzzme.
